Why are dragons such great guests at the seder table? More monsters to teach kids (or tiny elves) about Jewish holidays! Different creatures, same charm.

Review

What a fun way to learn about Jewish traditions!

The third book in the Loveable Monster Holiday series can also be read as a standalone. Characters from previous books make an appearance: Bubbeh Yenta (from Werewolves Don’t Celebrate Hanukkah), reminding us of the mysterious “kugel incident”; and Daphne (from The Orc Who Saved Christmas), the chameleonic sheep that can take the role of beard or patty.

Unlike werewolves, dragons don’t care to fight each other for correct spellings, they just wing it. (ba dum tss)

Once more, J. Burrello’s illustrations are the perfect complement to Franklin’s amusing words.

Does anyone have an extra bowl of charoset? I’d like to try it.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
